Workforce development is inarguably today's biggest challenge for employers. While certainly short term solutions are necessary, long term strategies also must be developed as well by working with education partners that will help people prepare for, find and maintain living-wage jobs. And as industries change and jobs become more specialized, the workers needed to fill them must possess advanced education and training. Savvy employers will continue to remain connected with our local higher education institutions to identify future employees, discover training resources for your staff, and identify how internships may help your business.
